Mrs. Ebony Sue Matteson, age 52, entered into rest Wednesday, April 11, 2018.
A memorial service will be held 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, April 17, 2018, at Redeemed Holiness Church in St. Stephens. The Reverend Jerry Causey officiating.
Born September 7, 1965, in Summerville, she was a daughter of Josef Kocsis and the late Mary Earline Carter. She loved animals and being with her family, especially her children. She liked fishing as well as crabbing and watching movies. She enjoyed going for long drives, gardening, working in her yard, going out to eat, and playing Cat Monopoly.
Surviving in addition to her father are: her husband, Ronald L. Matteson, Jr.; four sons, James Parker (Mokie), William Poole, III (Tiffany), Ronald L. Matteson, III, and Jimmy Matteson; her grandchildren, Joshua, Ashton, Payton, Hunter, and Carter; two brothers, Steven L. Kocsis (Tina) and Jody Kocsis; a sister, Gail Causey (Jerry); a sister-in-law, Cheryl L. Matteson; and her mother-in-law, Theresa Matteson.
