Biography
Mrs. Doris Ann Kinsey, 69, of Walterboro, entered into her eternal rest Wednesday afternoon, June 6, 2012, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro. She was first married to the late John Sunny Beckett and was the widow of Barney Sylvester "Buck" Kinsey, Jr. who died March of 2012.
There will be no funeral ceremony.
Mrs. Kinsey was born February 11, 1943, in Williams and was a daughter of the late Johnny Davis and the late Eva Mae Robertson Davis. A seamstress having worked at Smoaks Manufacturing, she will be remembred for her love of plants and birds.
Surviving are: two sons, Pete Beckett of Smoaks and Joe Herndon of Walterboro; four daughters, Lisa Smoak, Darla Beach, and Ginger Armentrout all of Walterboro, and Carla Kinsey of Patterson, New Jersey; and a brother, James Davis of Williams. There are thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren that also survive.
