Biography

Mrs. Donna Marie Gardner Davidson, 41, of Smoaks, entered into eternal rest Friday, September 2, 2011 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held 3 pm, Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Jones Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church with Reverend Dan Stroman and Reverend Tom Polk officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Davidson was born March 13, 1970 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and was a daughter of Clyde Junior Gardner and Donna Jean Steininger. She loved going on camping and boat riding trips and was active with the Girl Scouts of America. She will be remembered most for the love she had for her family, always centering her life around them.

Surviving are: her husband, Glenn M. Ryan of Smoaks; her parents, Clyde Gardner of Thomasville, North Carolina and Donna Jean Steininger of Randleman, North Carolina; children, Tiffany Marie Ryan, Tabitha Lynn Ryan, Elizabeth Marie Davidson, Steven Jeffrey Davidson and Katrina Cheryl Ryan, all of Smoaks; granddaughter, Olivia Grace Ryan of Smoaks; sisters, Becky Jean Young of Ashboro, NC and April Lynn Bridge and her husband Wayne of Walterboro; brother, Clyde Donald Gardner and his wife Della of Seagrove, NC; father and mother-in-law, Glenn and Lula Mae Ryan of Smoaks; brother-in-law, Ben Ryan and his wife Kelly of Round O; sister-in-law, Sandra Jarrell and her husband Richard of Smoaks; a special nephew, Richard Glenn Jarrell of Smoaks; special nieces, Kayla Miller of Round O and Brandy Jarrell of Smoaks; and many other nieces and nephews.
