Donald Simmons, Jr

HAMPTON- Mr. Donald Roy Simmons, Jr., 36, of Hampton, died Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at his residence.



Graveside services will be held 11 am, Saturday, September 26, 2009 at Johnson-St-Paul Cemetery in Hampton.



Mr. Simmons was born April 2, 1973 in Hampton County and was a son of Loubell Boone Simmons and the late Donald Roy Simmons, Sr. He was a very hard working man and was very good at wood crafting and painting. He loved being with his family and enjoyed fishing.



Surviving are: his mother. Loubell B. Simmons of Hampton; grandmother, Alice Hall of Varnville; brother, John B. Simmons of Hampton; sister, Alice M. Simmons of Hampton; sister-in-law, Bernae Simmons of Hampton; nieces and nephew, Jonathan, Sherriann and Torri Simmons; special friend, Melissa Smith; and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Grover Simmons, Maybell Simmons Peeples and Thomas Martin.
