Mr. Donald Hull, 53, of Cottageville, entered into rest Friday evening, May 13, 2016, at his home in Sumter.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 o’clock Thursday morning, May 19, 2016, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. The Reverend Alfred Willis officiating. Interment will follow in Live Oak Cemetery, South Jefferies Highway, Walterboro.
Born July 31, 1962, in Charleston, South Carolina, he was a son of Mrs. Kaye Willis Hull and the late Joseph William Hull, Jr. He was an employee of International Paper in Sumter and was of the Baptist faith. Donald was an outdoorsman who dearly loved fishing, especially spending time on the Edisto River. He will always be remembered as a loving son and brother.
Surviving in addition to his mother of Cottageville are: a sister, Kathy Hull Staton (Paul) of Hubert, North Carolina and their family Michael, Tracy, and Kylie; an aunt, Rosemary Willis Melendez (Louie); and three cousins, Vince Melendez (Grace) and their child, Ginger, Mark Melendez (Rosalind), and Michelle Howington (Clint) and their children, Morgan and Dominick. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Hull; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph W. Hull, Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. George M. Willis.
The family has requested that memorial contributions be directed in his memory to: Cottageville Baptist Church, Roof Fund, care of Cindy Stivender, PO Box 97, Cottageville, South Carolina 29435.
