Dianne Saimes

Ms. Cynthia Dianne Jarrell Saimes, 57, of Varnville, entered into eternal rest Wednesday morning, December 4, 2024, at her residence.

Born September 9, 1967, in Varnville, she was a daughter of Kathryn Prince Lyons and the late Richard Edward Jarrell. She worked at Piggly Wiggly as a cake decorator and was an avid Carolina Gamecock fan. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter and sister and dearly loved her family, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren whenever she could.

Surviving are: her mother, Kathryn Lyons of Varnville; sons, Joshua Saimes of Houston, Texas and Dylan Saimes and his wife Camille of San Fransico, California; grandchildren, Kayden Saimes-Smith and Sage Saimes; the father of her sons, Mulford Edward Saimes of Walterboro; brothers, Steve Jarrell of Hampton, Richard Jarrell of Smoaks and Robert Jarrell of Ruffin; a nephew that she loved as her son, Gregory Ames; her beloved pup, Oscar; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and many friends that she loved dearly.

Funeral services will be held 2 o’clock, Sunday afternoon, December 8, 2024, at The Brice Herndon Funeral Home, Varnville-Hampton Chapel. Interment will follow in Thames Cemetery.
