Diane Frazier Jones

Mrs. Diane Frazier Jones, 73, of Walterboro, entered into rest Saturday afternoon, June 29, 2024, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.

Born January 10, 1951, in Colleton County, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Ashley Frazier, Sr. and the late Lori Bazzle Frazier.   Diane worked as a seamstress in her earlier years, but worked for a large part of her life as a hostess at the Hampton Inn in Walterboro.   She was a member of the Walterboro Church of God.   She will always be remembered for centering her life around her loving family.

Surviving are: her husband of fifty years, Mr. Allen Wayne Jones; two children, Denise Linton (Michael) of Brunswick and Allen Wayne Jones, Jr. (Valerie) of Walterboro; two sisters, Sue Smith and Lucille Fraizer; five grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.   She was preceded in death by a brother, Ashely Frazier, Jr.; and four sisters, Mary Jennings, Lourie Kiggen, Gloria Jean Fletcher, and Helen Jennings.

A memorial celebration of her life will be conducted at 4 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, July 3, 2024, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.   The Reverend Dr. Aaron Gray officiating.   The family will receive friends following the funeral ceremony.
