Mr. DeWayne Earl Fields, 78, entered into rest Thursday, October 24, 2013 at The Veterans Victory House in Walterboro.
Born May 18, 1935, a native of Delaware Township, Hancock County, Ohio, he was a son of the late Wayne Fields and Edna Radabaugh Fields. He served his country faithfully in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a retired carpenter.
Surviving are: his children, Debra Fields of North Carolina, Morris Fields of South Carolina, Judy Fields of Ohio and Jon Fields of Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. He had 1 brother, Robert Bennett; and two sisters, Betty Rike and Lynne Modrall.
