Ms. Denise Darlene Dopson, 53, of Islandton, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at her residence.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm, Friday, November 25, 2016 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Varnville-Hampton Chapel.
Born November 23, 1962 in Lajes, Azores, she was a daughter of Eddie Robert Dopson and Fredia Williams Dopson. She was a retired Administrative Clerk from Ridgeland Correctional Institute.
Surviving are: her parent of Islandton; son, Robert D. Dopson of Islandton; brother, Thimothy A. Dopson and his wife Samantha of Marble, North Carolina; and sister, Lora J. Dopson Moseley and her husband Brantley of Hampton.
