Dee Anne Avant

Dee Anne Avant, 66, of Cottageville, gained her wings Friday afternoon, October 4, 2024, at her residence.

Born May 27, 1958, in Charleston, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Robert Aaron Lambert and Peggy Lou Nibert.  Dee had a full life and was blessed by many.  She worked as a schoolteacher and was especially fond of teaching special education.  She had also worked as an office manager.  She will be loved and missed by all.

She leaves behind her husband of 40 years, Rayford A. Avant, Jr.; two daughters, Crystal Lynn Avant and Shanna Marie Wright; and two granddaughters, Tiffany Brooke Wright and Taliyah Yasmine Avant Brown.
