Mrs. Debra Imogene Brown, 52, entered into rest surrounded by the love of her family Sunday afternoon, March 15, 2015, at her home in Smoaks while under the care of Amedisys Hospice following a courageous battle against Breast Cancer.
Funeral services will be conducted 3 oclock Wednesday afternoon, March 18, 2015, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. The Reverend Larry Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.
Born November 15, 1962, in Jacksonville, Florida. She was a member of Canadys First Baptist Church. She will always be remembered for the love she possessed and her strong determination in life. She loved doing puzzles.
Surviving in addition to her mother, Mrs. Ann Bazzle Baker of Columbia are: her husband thirty-four years, Mr. William George Billy Brown; six daughters, Troyce Susan Lee (Sam) of Orangeburg, Kimberly Colson (Allen) of Cottageville, Diana Roberts (Derek) of Islandton, Brenda Mitchell (Allen) of Erwin, Tennessee, Amber Davidson of Walterboro, and Tiffney Brown (Jake Myers) of Smoaks; and three sisters, Veronica Ann Coker, Sylvia Pyle, and Phyllis Hill. There are eighteen grandchildren that also survive. She was preceded in death by a son, William Shawn Brown; and a granddaughter, Emily Peyton Mitchell.
