Biography
Ms. Deborah Jo Roberts, 53, of Walterboro, passed away Friday, September 14, 2012 at her residence.
Ms. Roberts was born July 17, 1959 in Westerville, Ohio and was a daughter of Marie Cumblit, and the adopted daughter of Margaret Davis. She was a talented artist and enjoyed painting. She will always be remembered as a strong woman who was a great mom and loving "Nanny".
Surviving are: her daughter, Tiffany Roberts of Walterboro; granddaughter, Mary Marie Hickman of Walterboro; brothers and sisters, Kim Davis of Florida, Jeanie Griffin of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, Rick Smith of Phoenix, Arizona, Christine Burris of Phoenix, Arizona, Linda Kessinger of Clearwater, Florida, and other sisters, Carol, Kathy, Diane and Shirley; many nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Dennis Luiz of Walterboro.
A memorial service will be held 3 pm, Sunday, September 23, 2012 at the Bay Creek Park, Dock Site Road at Edisto Beach.
