Walterboro, South Carolina

Debbie Lynn Moore, born on March 12, 1962, in Key West, Florida, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her fiancé, William Armstrong, and their dog, Kingsford, under the compassionate care of hospice.

Debbie was the beloved daughter of the late Ken and Charline Ward and a cherished sister to Cindi James, Pamela Middleton, and Ken Ward. She also had many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members that she dearly loved. Debbie's life was enriched by her two daughters, Tera Mauk (Dustin) of Christiansburg, VA, and Tonya Kanehl Moore (James) of Cottageville, SC. She was a proud grandmother to Kayla Whisenhunt, Becca Kanehl, Josh Kanehl, and Katie Moore, whose lives she followed with delight through shared stories and pictures. For nearly eight years, Debbie shared her life with her fiancé, William Armstrong, whose companionship brought her great happiness. Her professional life included various roles in the restaurant industry, with her most recent position at Little Caesars in Walterboro, where she was known for her dedication and warm spirit. Debbie had a deep love for nature, finding peace and joy in birds, gardening, and flowers. Her affection for animals was well-known, and she enjoyed feeding stray cats and naming them. She cherished the time spent with her family and friends. Known for her selflessness, Debbie never wanted others to worry about her, always putting the needs of those she loved first.

Debbie will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. As per Debbie's request, no memorial service will be held.
