Mrs. Debbie Bowers, age 59, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Wednesday afternoon, June 8, 2016, at Trident Medical Center in North Charleston.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon, June 11, 2016, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.  The Reverend Steve Rucker officiating.  The family will receive friends following the funeral ceremony Saturday afternoon at the funeral home.

Additional funeral services and burial will be held in Barbourville, Kentucky.

Born July 27, 1956 in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was a daughter of Mrs. Pauline Bennett Lambert and the late Lewis Lambert.  She was formerly a waitress at the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store in Walterboro and was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.  She will always be remembered for the love she had for her grandchildren and the passion she possessed for taking care of others.

Surviving in addition to her mother of Barbourville, Kentucky are: her husband, Kenneth Raymond Bowers; three children, Randy Ballew and his wife Misty of Ruffin, Jamey Ballew and his wife Jill of Walterboro, and Kim Beck and her husband Robert of Round O; three step-children, Chuck Bowers and his wife Stacey of Smoaks, Wesley Bowers and Ryan Bowers both of Walterboro; two brothers, Darrell Yother and Lewis Lambert, Jr.; and four sisters, Brenda Cooper, Malvenia Merida, Janet Bargo, and Angela Anderson.  There are fifteen grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a husband, Randall Wayne Ballew.
