Debbie Ann (Bennett) Hascall

Ms. Debbie Bennett Hascall, 71, of Ruffin, entered into eternal rest Wednesday evening, August 20, 2025.

Born September 17, 1953, in Colleton County, she was a daughter of the late John Wesley Bennett and June Blocker Bennett.  She was an Emergency Room Clerk for over 20 years at Colleton Medical Center.  She loved going to the beach, crabbing, gardening and working with her flowers.  She was always outgoing and fun to be around.  She especially loved her Jack Russell, “Sissy”, who was her constant companion.

Surviving are: her daughter, Stephanie Padgett and her husband Russ of Ruffin; grandchildren, Brittney Bagley (Paul), Christopher Padgett (Brittnay), Joseph Padgett (Shawna), and Mason Padgett; great grandchildren, Weston, Adaline, Jaxson, Owen, Annalee, Porter, Camdyn; her sisters, Darlene Barker (Jimi) and Teresa Bennett; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Donnie Bennett and his wife Barbara.

The family would like to especially like to thank Pruitt Hospice, Amy, and Jeanette, for the care they have given Debbie during her illness.

Funeral services will be held 1 o’clock, Sunday afternoon, August 24, 2025, at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.  The family will receive friends for a time of visitation immediately following the service.
