Mr. David Warren Clinton, Sr., 58, of Maple Ridge Road, Walterboro, died Friday, May 6, 2011 in Orangeburg County from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
A memorial service will be held 6 pm, Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel.
Mr. Clinton was born April 7, 1953 in Little Rock, Arkansas and was the son of the late Fred David Clinton and Theda Nadine Williams Clinton. He was a superintendent with Republic Contracting in Columbia. Anyone who knew David knew that he had an avid love for motorcycles, especially his Heritage and FXR. His love for riding led him to become a member of Colleton County ABATE, where he was formerly the Sergeant of Arms.
Surviving are: his wife, Mary Ann Mason Clinton of Walterboro; children, David Warren Clinton, Jr. and his wife Brook of Deville, LA and Elizabeth Ann Neumann of Colfax, LA; step children, Clyde Scott Mock, II of Walterboro, Amanda Nicole Mock of Charleston, Kimberly Danielle Mock of Charleston and Courtney Marie Mock of Ravenel; brothers, Thomas Woodrow Clinton of Ball, LA and Timothy Paul Clinton of Pineville, LA; sisters, Nancy Janet Stanford of Pineville, LA, Peggy Nadine Taylor of Pineville, LA and Helen Pauline Young of Deville, LA; and grandchildren, Jossie Nannette Neumann, Christopher David Neumann, Alexis Nicole Clinton and Alyssa Deanne Clinton,
