David Smythe

Mr. David Patrick Smythe, age 62, entered into rest Tuesday morning, March 5, 2013, at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.

A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was born June 15, 1951, and was a son of the late David Hall Smythe and the late Cathrine Marion Smythe. He was a sales representative for twenty-five years for Coors Beer and Wine Sales in three different states, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. He graduated from Steubenville College in Ohio with a business degree. He was a Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. Moving to South Carolina, he loved to go to his RV on Lake Marion and catfish.

He is survived by three sisters, Karen Mayfield, Kathleen Papriello, and Patricia Kail; and three daughters, Faye, Katie, and Renee.

He was a gentleman, kind and loving. We will miss him. May God hold you in his hands, Amen.
