David Sauls

Mr. David Sauls, 52, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Sunday evening, December 10, 2023, at his residence.  He was the husband of the late Rhonda Jean Sauls.

Born July 1, 1971, in Colleton County, he was a son of the late Jake Pete Sauls and Martha Inez Cook Sauls Stevens.  He was a devoted husband and dearly loved his late wife.  David loved the outdoors, enjoyed fishing, loved people and especially making everyone laugh.  Before being injured in an accident, David worked in tree service and truly loved his job.  He loved watching football with his brother-in-law and was a die-hard Washington Redskins fan.

Surviving are: his beloved dog, Trigger; sisters, Brenda Sauls of Columbia and Ann Graves and her husband Alton of Walterboro; brothers, Jake Sauls and his wife Karen of Brunson and Eddie Sauls of Brunson; half brothers, Kevin Sauls, Shawn Sauls and Wayne Sauls; half sister, Alicia Sauls; nieces and nephews, Sierra, Christopher, Paige, James, Ryan, Kayla, Justin, Megan, and Bridgette; and a great niece, Adalynn.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Sauls.

A memorial service will be held 2 o’clock, Saturday, December 16, 2023, at The Brice Herndon Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.
