David Satterfield

Mr. David Michael Satterfield, 51, of Stafford Road, Furman, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at MUSC in Charleston.

Mr. Satterfield was born February 28, 1962 in Allendale County and was a son of JC Satterfield and the lae Laura Jean Haslam Satterfield. He served his country in the United States Army and was a retired truck driver. He loved spending his time fishing and was an avid NASCAR fan.

Surviving are: his wife, Gloria Harriott Satterfield; father, JC Satterfield of Cordell, Georgia; sons, Brian “Little B” Harriott of Furman and Michael Anthony “Tony” Satterfield of Furman; brothers, Kerry Shawn Satterfield of Georgia and Jeremiah Satterfield of Florida; and sisters, Frances Lorraine Still of Hampton, Jean Satterfield of Georgia, Janet Satterfield of Barnwell and Sandra Lynn Satterfield of Greenville. He was preceded in death by a brother, Terry John Satterfield.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made towards his funeral fund: Post Office Box 1273, Varnville, SC 29944.
