David W. Hudson

Mr. David Wiltz Hudson, 60, of the Hudson Mill Community near Ruffin, entered into rest Sunday evening, May 19, 2024, in Allendale County.

Born October 10, 1963, in Colleton County, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Edward Ewell Hudson and the late Thelma Hudson Crosby.  He was a mechanic by trade and was a longtime member of Tabor United Methodist Church in Ruffin.  He will always be remembered for his love of working in his garden and yards.

Surviving are: two sisters, Debra H. Crosby of Ruffin and Brenda H. Murdaugh (Walter) of Walterboro; a brother, Edward Kim Hudson (Peggy) of Ruffin; three step-siblings, Charles E. Crosby, Jr., David W. Crosby, and Shirley Pellum; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his step-father, Charles E. Crosby and a niece, Christy Worley.
