Mr. David Phillip Cleary, 70, of Ward Street near Walterboro, entered into his eternal rest Friday morning, November 30, 2012, at his residence under the care of Odyssey Hospice.
A celebration of his life will be conducted 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon, December 2, 2012, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Mr. Greg Nice officiating.
The family will receive friends following the funeral ceremony until 5 o'clock that afternoon in the Harbiston Stateroom of the Mortuary.
Born November 24, 1942, a native and resident of Fayetteville, North Carolina, he made Colleton County his home for the past twenty-two years. He was a son of the late O'Dell Cleary and the late Edith Warren Cleary and was the founder and owner of The Master's Touch. He was a member of the Philadelphia Church of God, Cameron Branch. David will be remembered as a man who was devoted to his work and religion and possessed a great love for his wife.
Surviving are: his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth "Libby" Bullwinkle Cleary; two sons, Jonathon Tyndall and his wife Deann of Raleigh, North Carolina and Garner Ted Cleary of Walterboro; two daughters, Valerie Michelle McClendon and her husband Ashley of Walterboro and Jennifer Marie Bazzle and her husband Dale of Walterboro; a brother, Earl Cleary of Fayetteville, North Carolina; and a sister, Ethel Davidson of Fayetteville, North Carolina. There are seven grandchildren that also survive.
