Mr. David Craig Bastian, 45, of Round O, died Monday, October 13, 2008 at Trident Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 11 oclock, Friday, October 17, 2008 at Providence United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery.
Mr. Bastian was born February 5, 1963 in Charleston and was a son of the late Leonard Fred Bastian and Betty Ann Varnadoe Kessler. He was a member of Providence United Methodist Church and was a painter. An avid outdoorsman, David loved hunting and fishing and was a member of Buck Hunting Club. David will be remembered as a dedicated husband and father who dearly loved his family and friends and as someone who always made his children strive for the best. He enjoyed having cookouts with family and friends and was an avid NASCAR fan.
Surviving are: his wife of 18 years, Nancy Georgen Bastian; children, Amanda Marie Bastian and Michael David Bastian, both of Round O; brothers, Shayne Bastian of Walterboro and Mark Anthony Bastian of Greer; step-mother, Beverly Bastian of Charleston; step-sister, Missy Hoff; step-brothers, Scott Hoff of Charleston, David Hoff, and Steve Hoff of Columbia; and his dog, Socks.
