Mr. Darrell Henry Hershberger, 65, of Walterboro, entered into rest Tuesday morning, July 28, 2026, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.

Born September 7, 1960 in Tampa, Florida, he was a son of Paul Arthur Hershberger and Shirley Mae O’Kelley-Smith. He served our country in the Florida National Guard as well as the United States Army. Known for a strong work ethic, he was a dedicated welder. He was an av id outdoorsman and will always be remembered for his love of Nascar racing and riding motorcycles.

Surviving in addition to his father of Florida and his mother of Walterboro are: a daughter, Alana Robertson; five siblings, Dena “Dusti” Street, Cyndi Colson (Michael), Derek Adderson Smith (Eva), Jen Gagne (Neal), Paul Hershberger; two grandchildren, Rilee Scite and Michael Chillari; and a host of dearly loved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Tina G. Craven; a beloved step-mother, Sue Hershberger; and step-father, Lewis A. Smith

A memorial celebration of his life will be held at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon, August 15, 2026, from Nova Church, 4955 Jefferies Highway, Walterboro. The Reverend Zane Brown officiating.
