Mr. John Daniel Donehue, 57, of Brunson, died Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Uni-Health Post Acute Care of the Lowcountry in Estill.
A memorial service will be held 3 pm, Monday, August 30, 2010 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Varnville-Hampton Chapel.
Mr. Donehue was born February 15, 1953 in Hampton and was a son of Luvita Bridges Crosby and the late John Edward Donehue. He was a former hair stylist at The Cutting Room and served his country faithfully in the United States Army and then in the Army National Guard.
Surviving are: his mother, Luvita Bridges Crosby of Brunson; children, John Wesley Donehue and his wife Elizabeth of Columbia and Jennifer Poston and her husband Robert of Goose Creek; granddaughter, Alexis Poston of Goose Creek; sister, Linda Odom and her husband Charles of Brunson; step-sister, Bonnie Fletcher of Walterboro; and nephew, Chuck Odom and his wife Sheila of Varnville. He was preceded in death by a niece, Courtney Odom; and a stepfather, Richard R. Crosby.
