Daniel Paul Moody, Jr.

Daniel Paul Moody, Jr., 50, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Saturday, May 6, 2023, at his residence.

Daniel was born January 9, 1973, in Charleston, South Carolina and was the son of Deborah Elaine Terry and the late Daniel Paul Moody, Sr.

Daniel has always been known for his positive and happy manner.  He could make anyone laugh and everyone loved him dearly.  Daniel was a hard worker and always willing to help those who needed a hand.  He was intelligently gifted with the ability of hands-on work; he could basically do anything that he put his mind to.  Daniel had a fondness to be out on the water, especially the river, where you could often find him fishing.  He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and would have alongside of him his dear K-9 dachshund companion, Max.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by: his sister, Tammy Lawton (Nick); brother, David Evans; daughters, Kristan Rogers, Courtney Brisson and Deanna Jackson (Marcus); his sons, Daniel Moody, III, Jacob Moody and Christopher Moody; and eight-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 1 o’clock, Saturday afternoon, May 13, 2023, at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.

The family will receive friends during a time of visitation prior to the service at 12 o’clock noon.
