Daniel Lee Brown

Mr. Daniel Lee Brown, 62, of Walterboro, entered into rest Wednesday evening, June 16, 2021 at Trident Medical Center.

Born May 19, 1959 in Burlington, Wisconsin, he was a son of the late Thomas Gordon Brown and Audrey Marie Jasniewski Brown.  He was an excellent truck driver.  He was always known and a kindhearted person who had a good sense of humor and loved to joke.  He was very thoughtful and always very understanding.  He also enjoyed traveling on cruise ships.  Daniel was a loving husband and supportive brother and friend.  He also dearly loved his two dogs, Dusty and Rusty.

Surviving are: his wife, Shirley Smoak Brown of Walterboro; son, Ronnie Ludwig of Wisconsin; son, Paul Allen McGahan and his wife Penny of Barnwell; sister, Peggy Wittman and her husband Charles of Wisconsin; sister-in-law, Helen Priester and her husband Wayne; grandchildren, Bethany Mackins and her husband Ark and Luke Pickering; great grandchild, Jordon Mackins; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, several aunts and uncles, mother and father-in-law, 2 brothers-in-law, and 1 sister-in-law.

Funeral services will be held 4 o’clock, Saturday afternoon, June 19, 2021, at The Brice Herndon Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel.  Interment will follow in Doctors Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 126 Doctors Creek Road, Walterboro.
