Cynthia “Cyndi” Ann Beard, 49, of Bamberg, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Wednesday evening, November 30, 2022, at her mother’s residence surrounded by family.
Born February 6, 1973, in Bamberg County, she was a daughter to Stephen J. Lyons and Shirley J. Holloway. She was the wife of the late Mr. Hugh Carroll Beard.
Mrs. Beard was known by many as a selfless kind and giving lady. She was truly a beloved mother, daughter, sister and best friend. Cyndi was co-owner of Twin Oaks Deer Processing. She had a passion for reading and spending time with family. She was very loyal to her Lord and savior Jesus Christ and was a member of Colston Branch Baptist Church; which she loved and adored her church and congregation family.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her twin children, Nathan S. and McKinley B. Beard; step-daughters, Laken Beard, Jessica Ulmer and Maci Moore; her stepdad, Steven Holloway; her twin sister, Tammy Ray (Al); and her sister, Stephanie Chavis (Oliver); step-brothers, Richard and Jo Jo Grooms (Dina); grandchildren, John Russell Ulmer and Riggs Moore; and many nephews and nieces and great nephews and nieces.
Preceding her in death in addition to her husband is her dear friend, Rusty Still and step-mother, Frances Lyons.
Graveside services will be held 3 o’clock, Sunday afternoon, December 4, 2022, at Colston Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, 655 Sunday School Road, Bamberg, SC.
