Mr. Coty Alan Stahl, 20, of Augusta Highway in Smoaks, entered into his state of eternal rest Tuesday evening, December 21, 2010, at Doctors Hospital Burn Center in Augusta, Georgia, following a strong and courageous three week battle for his life.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 oclock Monday afternoon, December 27, 2010, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro with The Reverend Travis Hutchinson officiating. Interment will follow in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.
Mr. Stahl was born June 15, 1990, in Massillon, Ohio, and was a son of Kelly Pyle Pye and Daniel G. Pye. He was a mechanic at A-1 in Walterboro, and possessed and avid love for the outdoors. A simple country boy, Coty enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest every day. Like most young guys his age, he loved to hunt large game white tail American deer and fish the local creeks and rivers of Colleton County. Another favorite pastime of his was enjoying a good ride on his four-wheeler with his friends.
Surviving are his parents: Kelly Pyle Pye and Daniel G. Pye; his sister, Kayla Pye of the home; and his maternal grandparents, Bob and Nancy Trachsel of New Philadelphia, Ohio.
