Clinton Hower

February 15, 1938 — August 11, 2016

Mr. Clinton Carroll Hower, 78, a resident of the Veteran’s Victory House in Walterboro, entered into rest Thursday, August 11, 2016.  He was the husband of the late Bonnie Hower.

Born February 15, 1938, in Lyons, Kansas, he was a son of the late Raymond and Zelda Fowler Hower.   He retired from Gurensey Office Products after many years of service and served in the United States Air Force.   He was an avid golfer as well as fisherman.   He was very active in tennis but loved sports of all kinds.   He was also an avid hunter, enjoying bow and arrow hunting of American White Tail deer.

Surviving are: a son, Clinton Craig Hower and his wife Dee; his son’s mother, Pattie Hower; two step-children, Jennifer and Melanie; as well as a sister, Gaye Hosier.
