Clifton Lyons

SMOAKS- Mr. Clifton Terry Lyons, 48, of 5044 Berea Road, died Monday, April 27, 2009 at Bamberg County Hospital.



Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Thursday, April 30, 2009 at Buckhead Advent Christian Church. Burial will follow in Hagan Cemetery.



Mr. Lyons was born July 31, 1960 in Bamberg County and was a son of Gerald Lyons Sr. and Grace Williams Lyons. He was a maintenance technician with Zeus and was a member of Buckhead Advent Christian Church. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing; and will be remembered most as a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who loved his family deeply and centered his life around them.



Surviving are: his wife of 30 years, Kathy Smith Lyons of Smoaks; parents, Gerald and Grace Lyons of Smoaks; children, Terry Lyons, Jr. and his wife Kelly of Smoaks and Kristy Lyons and her fianc, Roy Parker of Smoaks; grandchildren, Taylor Lyons and Shana Parker; brothers, William Lyons and his wife Libbi of Smoaks, Jerry Lyons of Smoaks and David Lyons and his wife Annette of Walterboro; sisters, Geraldine Craven and her husband Billie of Smoaks and Barbara Lyons of Smoaks; and many nieces and nephews.
