Clifton Bennett

Mr. Clifton Benjamin Bennett, Jr., 69, of Walterboro, entered into his state of eternal rest Saturday evening, August 28, 2010, at the Uni-Health Post Acute Care of the Lowcountry in the Estill.



A memorial service will be conducted 6 oclock Tuesday evening, August 31, 2010, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.



Mr. Bennett was born October 24, 1940, in Colleton County and was a son of the late Clifton Benjamin Bennett, Sr. and the late Rosa Lee Bunton Williford.



Surviving are: a daughter, Lisa Padgett and her husband Gerald of Walterboro; and a sister, Elizabeth Lib Prescott of Walterboro. There are several nieces and nephews that also survive.
