Claudia Ward

Ms. Claudia Elizabeth Ward, 83, of Durango Lane, Cottageville, died Friday, December 17, 2010 at MUSC.



Ms. Ward was born June 8, 1927 in Mobile, Alabama and was a daughter of Bob Parry and Geneva Ward. She was a retired bus driver for the federal government and will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.



Surviving are: her children, Sheila Kanter of Summerville, James Floyd and his wife Betty of Cottageville and Barbara Wallace of Gainesville, GA; brother, Ben Parry; sister, Shirley Jean Parry; grandchildren, Marie Ard, Geneva Gunnells (Wally), Kenneth Watts, Adam Chapa, Wendy Graham (Nathan) and Candice Powell (Carlos); 13 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Carl Lawson, Jr.
