Clarence Robertson

Mr. Clarence J. Robertson, 72, of Round O, entered into his eternal rest Thursday morning, October 16, 2014, at his residence.

Funeral services will be conducted 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon, October 19, 2014, from The Brice W. Herndon & Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel with the Reverend Jerome Hodge officiating. Interment will follow in Jones Swamp Pentecostal Cemetery, Walterboro, SC.

Born April 21, 1942, in Colleton County, he was a son of the late Henry Walker Robertson, Sr. and Grace Linder Robertson. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church. He will be fondly remembered as a wonderful and caring person who loved his family. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved fishing and hunting. He was a retired employee of Asten- Hill.

Surviving are: his wife Betty Hiott Robertson of 50 years; a son, James Scott Robertson of Round O; a daughter, Alicia Jean “Lissy” Robertson of Round O; 3 grandchildren, Shannon Jean Mattson (Lawton), Whitney Robertson, and Grace Robertson. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Caroline “Sister” Howell; and two brothers, H.W. Robertson, Jr. and Charles Robertson.
