Mr. Christopher James Jamison, of Walterboro, 32, entered into eternal rest, Thursday morning, June 22, 2023.
Born October 29, 1990 in Charleston County, he was the son of Christopher Todd Jamison and Carol Lynn Bailey Jamison. He was raised in James Island and attended James Island Charter High School. He was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in James Island and was baptized at the age of 9. In his youth, he was active in all sports and was a speed skating champion who won many national awards. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycle riding, skateboarding, going to the beach, spending time with his friends, and was an excellent cook. At the age of 18, he became a cancer survivor.
Surviving are: his parents, Christopher and Lynn Jamison of Walterboro; paternal grandmother, Ruth Sullivan Jamison of Hampton; maternal grandfather, Curtis Thomas of James Island; uncles, Thomas and Cindy Jamison of Nixville and Timothy and Sandy Jamison of Martinez, Georgia; aunt, Annette Jamison of Covington, Georgia; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jenny McKenzie Thomas and James Edward Bailey; and paternal grandfather, Sylvia Monroe “Billy” Jamison.
Funeral services will be held 4 o’clock, Saturday afternoon, June 24, 2023 at The Brice Herndon Funeral Chapel, Varnville. Interment will follow in Adnah United Methodist Church Cemetery, Adnah Church Road, Islandton.
