Mrs. Christine Peeples Youmans, 58, of Lento Road, Varnville, died Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Hampton Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held 3 pm, Sunday, August 21, 2011 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Varnville-Hampton Chapel.

Mrs. Youmans, was born January 31, 1953 in Hampton and was a daughter of Hazel Tuten Peeples and the late Harvey R. Peeples. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Surviving are: her husband, Arthur Joseph Youmans of Varnville; mother, Hazel Tuten Peeples of Varnville; children, Melanie McDonald and her husband Jason of Charleston, Kevin Youmans and his wife Shannon of Varnville and Lacy Buzzell and her husband Jonathan of Varnville; sister, Shirley Shannon and her husband Steve of Orange Beach, Alabama; brother Randy Peeples and his wife Jayne of Varnville; grandchildren, Skyler Fisler, Tucker Britton, Levan Youmans, Alicia Youmans, Cerdic McDonald, Aria McDonald, Alexander Buzzell and Zackary Buzzell; one that she loved as a daughter, Kerri DeLoach; and two that she loved as granddaughters, Melyndi and McKinna Jarrell; and a host of family and friends.
