Mrs. Christine R. Hiott, age 57, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Tuesday afternoon, May 31, 2016, at her home in Walterboro while surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Agape Hospice.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 o’clock Saturday morning, June 4, 2016, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment will follow in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.
Born November 6, 1958 in Walterboro, she was a daughter of Mrs. Marie Carter Hiers and the late Robert Lynell Rahn. She for many years was employed with Circle C at Canadys and CVS in Walterboro. She was of the Baptist faith. She will forever be remembered for her love of fishing and talent at beautiful crochet work. She had a smile that was infectious and a laugh that brought great joy. She was a kind hearted person who dearly loved her family.
Surviving in addition to her mother of Ruffin are: her husband of forty years, Mr. Richard Hiott, Jr.; three children, Tracy Hiott of the home, Timmy Hiott and his wife Danyelle of Ruffin, and Becky Hiott of Cottageville; three brothers, Dale Rahn, Darren Rahn, and Marvin Rahn; a sister, Janice Wiggins; and three grandchildren, Brian, Carly, and Elizabeth. She was preceded in death by a son, Trever Hiott.
