Charlie Weatherford

Mrs. Charlie Marie Weatheford, 66, of Walterboro, entered into her eternal rest on the evening of Monday, September 21, 2009, at her residence under the care of Hospice Care of America.

Funeral services are planned for a later date.

Mrs. Weatherford was born November 14, 1942, in Charleston, and was a daughter of the late Charles and Augusta Sharp Chubb. She was a member of the Walterboro Church of God and will be fondly remembered for her love of fishing and gardening.

Surviving are: five sons, Charles Samuel Duncan of Goose Creek, Frankie Duncan of Ridgeland, Paul Duncan of Hartsville, and Joseph Duncan and Joshua Duncan both of Walterboro; two daughters, Tammie Long of Cottageville and Sherry Newbauer of Walterboro; and two sisters, Peggy Ethridge of James Island and Joan Allen of Johns Island. There are fifteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren that also survive.
