Mr. Charles Franklin Hall, 86, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Wednesday evening, May 20, 2026, at his residence in Summerville. He was the husband of the late Joyce Ann Murray Hall to whom he was married 59 years.

Born November 26, 1939, in Greer, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Charles Jewel Hall and Willie Nell Ivie Hall. He served his country in the South Carolina National Guard and was a retired Nuclear Supervisor from the Charleston Naval Shipyard. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Hall enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on old cars. He was the original President of the Lowcountry Mustang Club of Charleston and was an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America.

Surviving are: his daughters, Melanie Johnson (Timmy) of Walterboro and Donna McDaniel (Lloyd) of Summerville; grandchildren, Nicholas Johnson, Candace Murray, Brittaney Hall, Garrett McDaniel, and Courtney Taylor; 9 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his son, Charles Daniel “Danny” Hall; and a brother, Thomas Alan Hall.

Funeral services will be held 2 o’clock, Sunday afternoon, May 24, 2026, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 7345 Jefferies Highway, Walterboro. The Reverend David Jackson officiating.
