Charles Grimes

Mr. Charles Wendell Grimes, 64, of Miracle Road, Ruffin, entered into rest Tuesday afternoon, August 25, 2014, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.

Born June 22, 1950, a native of Springfield, Ohio, he was a son of the late Wendell Greer Grimes and the late Anna Maxine Plock Grimes. He worked as a machinist and welder having last been with UniPac in Florida. His love and devotion in life were his family, whom he provided for greatly.

Surviving are: his wife of thirty-two years, Mrs. Melissa Auld Grimes; a daughter, Meaghan Grimes; five sons, Sean Grimes, Brian Grimes, Alan Grimes, Gary Grimes, and Michael Grimes; a brother, Donald Lee Grimes; and ten grandchildren.
