Charles E. Crosby

Mr. Charles Edward Crosby, 57, of Walterboro, entered into rest Friday morning, February 14, 2025, at Lowcountry Community Hospice in Summerville.

Born September 30, 1967, in Colleton County, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Clifton W. Crosby, Sr. and the late Clara Mae James Crosby.   He was an electrician and will always be remembered for the love he had for his family, being a great husband, father, grandfather, and brother.  He cared for others and was always willing to do for others.  He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are: his wife, Wendy B. Crosby; three sons, Charles Vance Crosby, Jr., James Matthew Crosby, Johnny Adam Crosby; three brothers, William Crosby, Jr., Leo Crosby, and Frank James Crosby; two sisters, Linda Hiott and Susan Jones; and two grandchildren, Everly and Sophia.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon, February 16, 2025, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.   The family will receive friends prior to the funeral ceremony beginning at 1 o’clock.
