Charles Coker

Charles Ellis Coker, age 89, husband of Betty Andrews Coker, died Saturday, February 1, 2020. Mr. Coker was a native of Walterboro, SC and a son of the late George Ellis and Bessie Padgett Coker. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and enjoyed his garden and sharing it. He was a member of Fairfax First Baptist Church and a mason. Charles was a Christian and his desire was for all his family and friends to be one also. Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Fairfax First Baptist Church with the Reverend David Janaro officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 P. M. in the Kinsey Cemetery, Round O, SC.

Family members include his wife Betty A. Coker; one son, Michael Charles Coker (Regina Crawford); two daughters, Celeste C. Skeen (Max) and Holy Jean Coker; one step son, Tim Dykes (Webby); special step daughter in law, Joyce B. Topper. He preceaded in death by his first wife Frances Rhodes Coker. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
