Charlene Martin

Mrs. Charlene Gilliam Martin, 73, of Cottageville, entered into eternal rest Monday, June 17, 2013, at the Colleton Medical Center. She was the widow of the late Howard Eugene Martin.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, June 20, 2013, at the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Homes, Walterboro Chapel.

Mrs. Martin was born September 16, 1939 in Pennington Gap, Virginia and was a daughter of the late Edna and William Hall Gilliam.

Surviving are; a son William Howard Martin (Teresa) of Cottageville, one daughter, Denise Lynn Jaimes of Bluffton; a brother, Bobby Gilliam of Virginia; and one sister, JoAnn Bailey of Virginia. There are seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
