Charlene Hales Creel

Mrs. Charlene Hales Creel, age 57, of Cottageville, entered into rest Sunday morning, January 18, 2026, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro with her devoted husband at her side following a long and courageous battle with cancer.  

Mrs. Creel was the loving wife of The Reverend Dr. John Glenn Creel and she stood faithfully at his side as he served as Chief of the Edisto Natchez-Kusso Tribe, a Southeastern Native American Indian Tribe.   She was a well-known fixture in her husband's medical practice, Walterboro Adult and Pediatric Medicine on Spruce Street; and was faithful in her ministry at Little Rock Holiness Church where her husband serves as Pastor.
