Chad Belue

Johns Island, South Carolina

Mr. Chad Everette Belue, age 50, of Johns Island, South Carolina, entered into rest alongside his beloved companion, Lea Cook, tragically Sunday evening, December 26, 2021, from injuries sustained during an accident in West Ashley while the couple was riding their motorcycle.

Born October 9, 1971, in Laurens County, South Carolina, he was a son of the late J. Earl Belue and the late Norma Jean Daniels Blackburn.  Chad was an equipment operator with Weaver Construction which is based out of the Charleston area.  Chad was a Christian and was proud of his membership at Jones Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church in Walterboro.   He was a talented guitarist; and enjoyed singing and music of all genres.  Motorcycles was a large part of his life and he was a member of the “The Brotherhood of Heroes”.  Chad was always willing to do for others and possessed a heart that was kind and loving, despite his hard and rugged exterior.

Surviving are: seven children, Josh Murphy, Amber Belue, Ashley Williams, Samuel Jaye Belue, Morgan “Lexi” Lee, Gracen Lane Belue, and Noah Belue; two brothers, Justin Blackburn and Preston Blackburn; three sisters, Donna Bryan (Jacob), Crystal Voss (Johnny), and Jodie Barnes; two grandchildren, Makenna Beever and Mercy Anderson; and his Pops, Mr. Hubert Blackburn.  Chad is also survived by a host of loving nieces and nephews, Carly, Makenzie, Chloe, Sklyar, Megan, Tristan, J.J., Chase, and Jesse; cousins and extended family member as well as Lea’s son and brother.

A Celebration of Life for Chad and Lea will be held Monday, January 3, 2022, where their families will receive friends from 5 o’clock until 8 o’clock at THE BRICE W.
