Cathy Weeks

Mrs. Cathy Thomas Weeks, 65, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Monday morning, August 10, 2026, at Colleton Medical Center.

Born January 14, 1961, in Walterboro, she was a daughter of Anne Ruth Dunn Thomas and the late Roy Allen Thomas, Sr. She was a substitute teacher in many schools throughout the Lowcountry of South Carolina. She devoted her time to reading and studying her Bible. Cathy was always searching out interests and gaining knowledge of the most amazing things. She knew how to debate and was always quick and enjoyable. Cathy was an avid cat lover and could speak Spanish and cat talk. She had a light about her that was beloved by many.

Surviving are: her husband, John William “Bill” Weeks, Jr.; mother, Anne Thomas; daughters, Nicole Thomas and Bethany Weeks (Shaun Wroblewski); brother, Allen Thomas and his wife Robin; sister, Carla Thomas; as well as several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
