Mrs. Cathryn Cathy Louise Beasley Stanfield, 64, of Walterboro, entered into her eternal rest Wednesday morning, January 28, 2015, at Colleton Medical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted 12 o'clock Saturday, January 31, 2015 from the Walterboro Chapel of The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.
She was born May 30, 1950 in Sylvania, Georgia and was a daughter of Louise Joyner Beasley and the late Woodrow Wilson Beasley. She was a loving and Christian woman who devoted her life to the service of God and others; and was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Northside Christian Church where she served as vice president of the ladies circle. She was retired from the Colleton County Food Services where she served as lunchroom manager for fifteen years. She will be fondly remembered for her love of cooking.
Surviving are: her husband of forty-six years, John H. Stanfield, Jr., son, Billy Stanfield and his wife Lynn of Concord, NC; sister, Glennis Burke of Sardis, Georgia; brothers, Jimmie Beasley of Atlanta, TX, Terrell Beasley, Gilbert Beasley and his wife Donna and Kyle Beasley and his wife Sharon all of Walterboro. Grandchildren, Taylor, Tasha, Sean, Allen, Mary Katherine, Lauryn and Crystal; great grandchildren, Carolynne, Shyanne, Sean, Jr., Zoey, Liberty, and Cody. She was preceded in death by a son Michal Stanfield and a daughter, Janet Baggett.
