Biography

Ms. Catherine Jean Gardner, 42, of Hope Plantation Road, Jacksonboro, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, December 14, 2011. She was born February 10, 1969 in Colleton County and was a daughter of Clarence Toomer and the late Nancy Gatch Brown. She had worked in the family business, Toomer's Restaurant, in Jacksonboro for many years, was a former beautician at A Cut Above in Charleston and was a website designer. She was deeply loved by her family and will always be remembered as an amazing daughter, sister and mother.

Surviving are: her father and step-mother, Clarence and Roberta Toomer of Summerville; children, Cindy Crider Lampson and her husband Tim of Greenville, Leah Gardner of Walterboro, Coleman Stanfield of Jacksonboro and Justin Gardner of Sumter; brother, Michael Toomer of Jacksonboro; and her companion, James Stanfield of Jacksonboro.
