Carroll Ripley

Mr. Carroll Arthur Ripley, Jr., 62, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Sunday, January 8, 2023, at his residence.

Born September 23, 1960, in Beaufort, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Carroll Arthur Ripley, Sr. and Gene Pinckney Ripley.  He enjoyed old country music and some of his favorite singers were John Denver, Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton and Jimmie Dean.  He also loved shrimping and telling jokes.

Surviving are: his wife, Amber Lee Ripley; daughters, Ashley Schwarz and her husband Michael and Carol Ann Ripley and Shanta Lee; grandchildren, Dayle Cable, Megan Schwarz and Christopher Lee; and a niece, Kathleen Martinez (Berney).  He was preceded in death by his twin sister, Penny Gene Ripley; sister, Kathy R. Hunt, and an infant sister, Gene Carol Ripley.

Funeral services will be held 2 o’clock, Friday afternoon, January 13, 2023, at The Brice Herndon Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel.  Interment will follow in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.
