Mr. Carroll Tracy Mills, 69, of Varnville, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at MUSC in Charleston.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Friday, May 19, 2017 in Varnville Cemetery.
Born February 27, 1948 in Ridgeland, he was a son of the late Lee Murray Mills, Sr. and Nell Murdaugh Mills. He served his country faithfully in the United States Army having served in Vietnam. During his time in the Army he received the Bronze Star, Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 2 Stars, and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. He loved to fish and especially traveling to the mountains and playing his guitar.
Surviving are: his wife, Annette Crosby Mills; children, Anthony Ginn of Fairfax, Angie Topper of Hampton, Laura Heatley of Walterboro, and Johnathan Harvey of Varnville; brothers, Lee Murray Mills, Jr. of Brunson and Rodney Mills of Estill; 11 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon beginning at 3 pm at the home, 550 Tinkertown Road, Brunson, SC.
