Carol Stanley

Mrs. Carol Frederickson Stanley, 68, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Colleton Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held 10 am, Friday, September 6, 2013 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel. Interment will follow in Williams Cemetery.

Mrs. Stanley was born February 7, 1945 in Charleston and was a daughter of the late E.A. Frederickson and Emma Dell Herndon Frederickson. She was a retired secretary for Stanley Land Clearing. She was a member of Marion Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School Secretary, Church Clerk, WMU Director and VBS Director. She loved gardening and working with her flowers and loved to read, but most of all, loved her family and was a devoted mother and grandmother.

Surviving are: her children, Andy Stanley and his wife Lorie of Walterboro, Al Stanley and his wife Renee of Walterboro, and Mark Stanley and his wife Allison of Green Pond; her brother, Reverend Mike Frederickson and his wife Mattie of Nixville; sisters, Betty Priester of Smoaks, Mary Hiott of Smoaks, and Laura Priester and her husband Curtis of Smoaks; 7 grandchildren, Jessica Stanley, Hunter Stanley, Caitlin Stanley, McCayla Stanley, Lindsey Stanley, Tucker Stanley and Bailee Stanley; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of the ICU unit at Colleton Medical Center for the care they have given to Mrs. Carol during her illness.
